BLINDED BY SIGHT:
Honoring God Through Poetry
The lost are crowding city streets. Blocking strong men, they change reality under their sun, certain of great cause and vision; utterly unaware of the battle already won. (Romans 8:37) So many souls blinded by pleasure in violence, even unable to tell you why, keeping neighbors from certain rescue; hurling stones from a fortress only so high. (2Thessalonians 2:12) They shoot in vain, their bows with arrows, but their battle, can never win for them, the prize. For treasure is found only in Jesus, but they fall unable, from chasing lies. (Matthew 24:4-5) And what is all this, but a curse, they think so great to receive; one that will ultimately unravel, til their game plan implodes, from failure to believe. (Revelation 20:14-15) For they are blinded by sight at the intake; spinning colors make the world go round, and pretty houses perfectly perched upon hills, but with barely any substance to be found. (Psalm 49:6-9) For they are blocking the view of True beauty; gathering in roads and alleyways in great dismay, with streaming tears blurring decency, like a wall overshadowing the One True Way. (Acts 9:2) For as our Savior watches them, they turn their heads from His troubled Eyes; stricken with unseemliness, their glorious future, crumbles in great surprise. (Revelation 3:17) And as they try to walk without vision; turning corners cursed with good health, in a way that blinds at the onset; they cling to personal power, and the great pursuit of wealth. (1Timothy 6:10) So they carry on in their pretty houses, perched way up on those hills; near a city with lavish store windows, that summon their freedoms, and defy their Creator's Will. (Romans 1:28) Warning of cursing and other disrespectful language in this video--
