DESPERATE:

Honoring God Through Poetry

Oh Lord, let the people hear and know these words are True;
the only way to live....is desperate, each and every moment for YOU!

I push ahead in desperate search,
and what I seek, I do see.
It comes to pass, the Lord is here;
He even sits down at my table with me!

God let desperation reign in the hearts of all the true;
all flesh beware, your godly fear may just be long overdue!

With the end of time imploding
and the last hour almost here,
drive us to our knees oh Lord,
where we are safe,
and know not fear.

For the fear of man is led to destruction,
but the fear of God meets the humble of heart,
and therein He establishes divine union,
in which only a fool would part.
