Honoring God Through Poetry

Everything’s better with God,
and that’s why His children sing;
the proof of His Powers illuminating,
even the smallest of things.

Dark is the corrupt countenance
plunging Truth to depths without plea,
but godliness rules, and grace resists,
the violent draw of the sea.

Therefore, to worship with the wicked is murder;
devouring all that is True,
so shout it loud to all who shun Him,
and give to Him,
ALL the praise He is due!

God imparts divine wisdom,   
so, open up wide to the small,
unto His Spirit: The Revealing One
Who wondrously dresses His call.

And then you will see He is EVERYTHING,
and everything under His Powers:
God in the valleys, the purple mountains,
the sun and freshly laid showers.

Seeing HIS Hand through events of the day,
reigning over those who are saved,
who trust His plan in death and birth
while praying for all those enslaved.

To Him who is everything in knowledge
and power, nowhere to displace,
is ALL glory and honor;
everything better,  
through the genuine seek of His Face.
