HIGH HORSES:
Honoring God Through Poetry
The mighty of the earth do indeed sit tall, but shamelessly, not brave or strong; they refuse to do for the 'little people;' cursing their own necks all the day long.
And Satan does indeed cover them from the exposure that may end their reign, so they may sit perched high on their horses; in conviction of their lies before the insane.
For God is surely separating the sheep, and goats; the wheat and tares, but we trust our Savior, Who removes fear in Truth, and soothes our most troublesome cares.
They persecute the unknowing, and the naive, like the poor little Lass, but the wise can see right through them just as if they were made of thin, severely weakened glass.
And this is KEY
to our eyes being opened;
that it's never been more clear
as to whom are God's enemies,
and to whom we may trust without fear.
So, for now
they will go on deceiving the wicked;
but their time of doom
is growing more and more near,
they are the ones Satan has fooled,
and they are ones
who should be shedding
mountains of tears.Sitting on their high horses, they confirm their agenda with the inhumane; so very lost, for they know not the law of meekness, just the pursuit of greed; casting away the care of its cost.
Still the faithful keep them in prayer; knowing their forever doom will come with a great surprise, for while we float gently upward, we will no longer have a chance to sway such fateful cries.
Oh how sadly they know not the ONLY ONE Who sits on a horse so very mighty and so very high is JESUS, Who is on His Way to shatter their world, as He breaks apart the atmosphere, with His Appearance in the sky!
"For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." (1Thessalonians 4:15-18, nkjv)
