THE SCHOOL OF GOD:

Honoring God Through Poetry

Recounting life’s many lessons,
notwithstanding the True and the façade;
there are still none that speak Truth in enlightenment,
none like the Glorious School of our God.  

And worldly teachers
from every land,
no matter how they may rank,
in what they’ve learned,
cannot compare to the divine wisdom
that cannot compare to the lawfully earned.

But when it comes to passing the Tests of God,
the answer key is never out of reach,
so unlike the ways of formal learning,
where pressures reign over all methods that teach.

So then, for all you students,
whose academic confidence
makes a routine of the bored,
why not welcome Supreme Knowledge,
and embrace brand new faith and Heavenly reward?

For the promotions of God
soar much higher than merely earning good grades,
as prestige misleads the senses,
but in the school of God a superior foundation is laid! 

Furthermore, the School of God
is readily available,
with no need of that grand meeting of the minds;
and the text Book IS His Word,
while His Spirit teaches through revelations,
and signs.

So, although higher education
has value which cannot be dispelled or undone,
when students adopt Supreme knowledge,
Truth outshines all ventures under the sun.

Therefore, in recounting life’s lessons,
notwithstanding the True and the façade;
there are still none that speak Truth in enlightenment,
none like the Glorious School of our God.

“For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined.” (Psalm 66:10)

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2Timothy 3:16-17)

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5)
